YOUNG WOMEN IN TECH
An IDB program for women who challenge, innovate, and shape the tech world in the region.
At the IDB, we believe in the importance of finding solutions to facilitate women’s entry into technical fields. Young Women in Tech is a one-year entry-level program specially designed for women advancing their careers in technology, envisioning a transformation in the industry and the region.
We are looking for young women affiliated and trained by Laboratoria in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru who seek to gain entry-level experience as web-developers and UX-designers.
Our Young Women in Tech program offers Laboratoria’s graduates the opportunity to work for IDB teams in Washington, D.C.
In response to the profound gender gap in the region’s technology industry, Laboratoria runs a 6-month bootcamp program that simulates a work environment to prepare women who have not started a professional career to thrive in this industry. In partnership with Laboratoria, we are bringing the talent needed to take a step ahead and shape an inclusive, diverse and competitive tech industry, starting here at the IDB.
