Handles the creation, dissemination and application of expertise in the specific sectors in which the IDB conducts business (ie/ water, transport, energy, social development, etc.) as well as the application of this knowledge to thematic areas and projects. Leads or participates in the strategic planning, design, execution, monitoring and evaluation of investment projects in specific sectors.
