• Provides leadership and direction to the section/Area.
  • Directs and optimizes budgeted resources to meet specific objectives and deliver agreed upon results.
  • Establishes goals and expectations for Section/Area staff and makes recommendations on resource and budgetary requirements for annual planning purposes.
  • Provides input to annual budgeting and planning activities.
  • Acts as technical point of contact for the Section/Area and its internal and external clients.
  • Ensures alignment of work program with Divisional and Departmental goals.
  • Reports on Section/Area performance against plans and progress on specific objectives.
  • Supervises Section/Area team and provides feedback and guidance to optimize performance and achieve Section/Area goals.
  • Ensures that workplace practices and behaviors comply with IDB’s policies related to ethics and respect in the workplace.
