• Provides leadership and direction to the Division. Takes a given business/functional strategy and translates this into clear a set of objectives, guidelines and programs for own area.
  • Identifies potential client needs, develops strategies and promotes IDB activities that meet client requirements.
  • Aligns Divisional plans with broader goals and strategies of the Bank.
  • Manages critical relationships with internal and external clients/stakeholders to secure support for significant business initiatives.
  • Leads annual resource planning, proposes annual budgets for Division and aligns Divisional resources to deliver against business plans.
  • Assumes responsibility for the delivery of high quality products and/or services on schedule and budget.
  • Focuses on continues improvement and developing capability to do business better.
  • Leads, manages, mentors and assesses Division’s staff and provides goals and expectations, feedback and technical guidance to optimize performance.
  • Ensures that workplace practices and behaviors comply with IDB’s policies related to ethics and respect in the workplace.
