Provides legal support and advice on all legal matters related to the IDB as well as support to public and private sector lending operations.

Supports the development and deployment of strategies and conditions to improve knowledge and learning in the Bank and in borrowing member countries. Designs, develops and implements the production, dissemination, and use of the Bank’s knowledge and learning products.

Supports the strategic planning, development, and delivery of services and solutions using IT.

Directs the development, implementation, and evaluation of human resource management activities and policies in areas such as staffing, compensation, talent management, leadership development, benefits, etc.

Ensures compliance with IDB fiduciary safeguards, including procurement and financial management.

Provides economic research and analysis on key sector/country-specific economic issues in support of IDB lending and technical assistance programs and projects.

Provides specialized corporate services in a range of specific areas such as corporate procurement, library management, health services, security, and facilities management. Covers a diverse mix of professions, skills and trades.

Supports the development, implementation and coordination of communication strategies, materials and events as well as the dissemination of public information.

Supports the administration and management of the IDB’s accounting and budget affairs
