About this position

We are looking for a strong Technical Product Owner for the Content Management team. As the Technical Product Owner, you will design and architect the solution, create the workplan, and manage the backlog of changes for the platform. You will work in the Platforms Team part of the TTD department, which is responsible for selecting, implementing, and maintaining the platforms and solutions that support the operations of the Bank.

What you’ll do

· Work with the Product Manager to identify and implement a continuous improvement of the document management repository hosted in SharePoint Online and their integrations solutions (Web Services).

· Design, develop, implement, and troubleshoot changes to the Content Management Solution.

· Manage the lifecycle of implementation of Change Requests across all phases.

· Act as a liaison between vendors, IDB technical teams, and business users.

· Evaluate different technologies to fulfill business requirements.

· Perform unit testing and prepare technical and functional documentation.

· Facilitate communication within the team and organize product-related meetings.

· Work on the definition of a sustainability and support model and processes to facilitate communication with clients.

· Assist the Product Manager on day-to-day responsibilities of product work using both agile and traditional approaches.

What you'll need

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or relevant discipline. Master’s degree desirable, Microsoft Azure or AWS Certifications desirable.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of work experience in the Information Technology field. Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft O365 products, and Cloud Solutions. Experience working with DevOps, Agile, and Traditional product management.You are also required to have proficient knowledge of AI and generative AI technologies, along with their potential applications; also, extensive understanding of ethical considerations and responsible use of AI.

Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English, spoken and written, is required. Additional knowledge of French and Portuguese is preferable.

Requirements

Citizenship: You currently reside or plan to reside in one of the countries listed below with citizenship in that country. 

Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.

Type of contract and duration

National (Local Remote Staff): National staff contract under a fully remote modality, 36 months. This contract is part of a program to hire staff to work fully remotely (not office-based). The program is set to expire at the end of 2028 and it may be extended, if successful.
