About this position
We are looking for a results- and team-oriented Data and Analytics Sr. Associate to join our Workforce Intelligence Team (WFI) in the Human Resources Department (HRD). The WFI is responsible for designing, leading, and executing the end-to-end analyses in areas related to Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, and Compensation and Benefits. You will oversee all matters of data quality management and analysis of the IDB’s personnel data and support the implementation of digital solutions. Your primary focus will be applying data mining techniques, doing analyses, and building high-quality reports and presentations aligned with HRD’s strategic functions. You will be supporting data governance and data quality processes to facilitate the development and implementation of data quality best practices and data protection standards in HRD. You will also ensure adherence to data policies, procedures, and guidelines to achieve the required level of quality and protection of critical data and information handled by HRD.
What you’ll do
- Collect, clean, and organize HR data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and readiness for analysis.
- Develop and implement interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and SuccessFactors to visualize HR metrics and trends.
- Design and build reports for key talent acquisition (TA) metrics, including time-to-fill, source of hire, and quality of hire, and maintain roles and security in SSF.
- Design and build reports for key employee performance metrics, including performance rating trends, feedback compliance, work program compliance.
- Produce PBI reports with a multi-sectorial approach including budget information, resource allocation, projection of budget execution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (Recruiters, Hiring Managers, HR Leadership) to identify key metrics, reporting needs, and streamline reporting processes for improved decision-making.
- Conduct thorough testing of reports and dashboards to ensure accuracy, functionality, and alignment with defined requirements.
- Analyze HR data to uncover patterns, correlations, and insights related to employee satisfaction, turnover, performance, and other key areas to support strategic planning.
- Provide training and support to users in accessing, interpreting, and leveraging reports within SuccessFactors and other analytics tools (e.g. Power BI).
- Contribute to data governance, process improvement initiatives, and the development of new HR tools by recommending best practices and ensuring data quality and organization.
What you'll need
- Education: Master’s degree (or equivalent advanced degree) in computer science, Data Science, Business Administration, Economics, or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant professional experience in data analytics, preferably in HR analytics. Knowledge of SQL and Success Factors is required. Familiarity with SAP HCM, Power BI or QlikView a plus.
- Languages: Fluency in English required; knowledge of Spanish, Portuguese and/or French is a plus.

• Staff:
- International staff contract, 36 months initially, renewable upon mutual agreement.
