About this position
We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated, and knowledgeable HR Technical Lead – SuccessFactors/SAP to support our IT People Management products. As HR Technical Lead – SuccessFactors/SAP, you will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of People Management products, ensuring that it aligns with the organization's business objectives and technical requirements. This role acts as the key interface between the business and development teams, ensuring that technical solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the desired functionality. The HR Technical Lead – SuccessFactors/SAP will be responsible for managing the product backlog, defining and prioritizing technical features, and ensuring that the product's technical specifications meet both business needs and technical standards.
You will work with the People Management Product teams within the Enterprise Product group in the Bank's Technology and Transformation Department(TTD). These teams are responsible for supporting and maintaining the daily operations of our SAP HCM and SAP SuccessFactors Enterprise Systems of the Bank, as well as developing and implementing new projects and initiatives. This position requires a strong technical background and knowledge of the SAP HCM and SAP SuccessFactors ecosystems for Human Resources.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and product managers to define the product vision and technical strategy.
- Translate business goals into technical product requirements, ensuring that the product aligns with both technical and business objectives.
- Ensure that technical aspects of the product are scalable, secure, and reliable, while supporting future growth.
- Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that technical tasks and user stories are well-defined and aligned with product goals.
- Prioritize backlog items based on technical feasibility, business impact, and dependencies.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure that user stories are clear, detailed, and ready for implementation.
- Collaborate with development teams to define technical specifications and ensure that solutions are designed to meet business and user needs.
- Ensure that technical requirements are properly documented, communicated, and understood by both business and technical stakeholders.
- Balance technical debt and feature development by ensuring that long-term technical sustainability is considered in product decisions.
- Act as the main point of contact for all technical aspects of the product, providing regular updates on progress, issues, and risks.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that technical constraints and business priorities are aligned.
- Manage stakeholder expectations by providing realistic timelines and scope, addressing any technical challenges or risks as they arise.
- Work closely with engineering and development teams to ensure that the product is built according to the technical requirements defined and meets quality standards.
- Attend sprint planning meetings, retrospectives, and daily standups to provide guidance and clarify requirements for the development team.
- Monitor and evaluate product performance, identifying areas for improvement in technical functionality, scalability, and security.
- Identify technical risks and proactively manage them to minimize potential impacts on the product timeline, quality, and cost.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation for the product, including architecture, codebase, integration points, and deployment procedures.
- Ensure that all technical deliverables are compliant with industry standards and organizational guidelines, including architecture, security, and data privacy requirements.
- Guide the technical direction of a development team, ensuring that software solutions are aligned with business and strategic goals and delivered on time.
- Hands-on configuration in SAP SuccessFactors.
- Lead and design SAP SuccessFactors integrations from/to SAP HCM and from/to other systems.
- Work across agile teams and products to coordinate development activities and resolve technical dependencies or blockers.
- Provide hands-on coding and configuration reviews to ensure quality, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Translate business and functional requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Coach and mentor team members, promoting professional development and knowledge sharing.
- Establish and enforce configuration standards and technical best practices.
What you'll need
Education: Master's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or other fields relevant to the role responsibilities.
Experience: At least 3 years of progressive experience in SAP SuccessFactors or SAP HCM implementations, and application support. Experience in SAP SuccessFactors implementations, particularly in Recruiting, Onboarding, or Employee Central, is highly preferable.
Languages: Proficiency in English, spoken and written, is required. Additional knowledge of French, Spanish or Portuguese is preferred.

- Desirable experience with data migration tools (lnfoporter, Import/Export, MDF Loader, Integration Center)
- Desirable experience working in a team structure organized by product, agile methodologies, backlog management, and experience with product management tools
Type of contract and duration
- Staff: National (Local Remote Staff) Must be a citizen of the country where the position is posted.
- National (Local Remote Staff): National staff contract under a fully remote modality, 36 months. This contract is part of a program to hire staff to work fully remotely (not office-based). The program is set to expire at the end of 2028 and it may be extended, if successful.
