About this position
We are looking for an experienced professional to join the Technology & Data Assurance Division (TTD/TDA) as an AI & Emerging Technologies Architecture Consultant. The successful candidate will contribute to the evolution of the Bank's Enterprise AI capabilities by designing reusable architecture patterns, evaluating emerging technologies, developing technical standards, and enabling the implementation of secure and scalable AI solutions across business and corporate initiatives.
The ideal candidate combines experience in AI, cloud-native architectures, software engineering, and enterprise architecture, with the ability to evaluate emerging technologies and translate them into reusable enterprise capabilities. Working closely with Product Teams, Security, Data Governance, Cloud Engineering, and Solution Architects, the consultant will accelerate AI adoption while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles, governance processes, and technology standards.
What you’ll do
You will report to the Enterprise Architecture Team Leader in the Technology & Data Assurance Division. The key activities include:
- Develop the Bank's AI reference architecture through reusable patterns, reference implementations, standards, architecture decision records, implementation guidance, roadmaps, and executive recommendations.
- Assess and accredit AI platforms, AI services, cloud-native technologies, and emerging technologies such as Generative AI, AI Agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), orchestration frameworks, and enterprise AI platforms.
- Develop proof-of-concepts, technical prototypes, and reference implementations to evaluate scalability, operational readiness, cost, and enterprise applicability.
- Enable the implementation of enterprise AI capabilities by collaborating with Product Teams, Technical Leads, Security, Data Governance, and Cloud Engineering.
- Participate in Architecture Review Boards (ARB), technical design reviews, and architecture governance activities.
- Promote Responsible AI governance and responsible technology adoption.
What you'll need
• Education: Master’s degree from an accredited university in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or another relevant field is required.
• Experience: Successful candidates should clearly demonstrate at least 5 years of experience, including Azure and applied AI experience, across most of the following areas: Cloud & AI Platforms, Applied Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Enterprise Architecture
• Languages: Proficiency in English and one of the other Bank official languages (Spanish, French or Portuguese) is required.
Additional Expertise:
- Design Enterprise Solutions.
- Cloud-native solution design using Azure and/or AWS.
- Enterprise AI platforms, including Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, or Amazon Bedrock.
- Production implementation of LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, semantic search, AI agents, and orchestration frameworks.
- Python, C#, or other modern programming languages.
- REST APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and containerization.
- Identity and access integration, including OAuth2/OIDC and role-based access control.
- Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solution architecture, enterprise integration, and technology architecture.
- Architecture governance, Architecture Review Boards, and technical design reviews.
Requirements
