About this position
We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and client-focused professional. As Corporate Services Analyst, you will lead the planning and execution of high-impact internal and external events, ensuring seamless delivery aligned with institutional standards and strategic objectives.
You will work in the Events Group, part of the External Affairs and Communications Department (EXC). This team is responsible for managing event production at Headquarters and in the Region, as well as supporting stakeholder engagement initiatives that strengthen the IDB Group’s brand, visibility, and outreach
What you’ll do
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.
- Coordinate with internal clients to define event objectives, scope, and requirements.
- Develop event concepts, timelines, and detailed run-of-show documentation.
- Manage all logistical aspects including venues, audiovisual, catering, interpretation, and materials.
- Oversee event budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective delivery.
- Coordinate procurement processes and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
- Ensure high-quality execution of digital and hybrid events using appropriate platforms and tools.
- Provide on-site and virtual event management to ensure smooth delivery and troubleshoot issues in real time.
- Manage multiple events concurrently across different portfolios.
- Prepare post-event evaluations and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
What you'll need
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Communications, Project Management, or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
Experience: At least 5 years of progressive experience in event management, including planning and delivering complex events..
Languages:
Proficiency in English and Spanish, spoken and written, is required. Additional knowledge of French and Portuguese is preferable.

Type of contract and duration
• Staff:
- International: International staff contract, 36 months initially, renewable upon mutual agreement.
