About this position
We are looking for a motivated, skilled, and organized Corporate Services Associate. In this role, you will provide procurement services for all Bank departments, both at Headquarters and Country Offices. Your responsibilities will include RFP development, evaluation, contract drafting and negotiation, and oversight of the decentralized procurement of consulting services for Bank-Executed Operations (BEO).
You will join the Corporate Procurement (PRC) Group within the Budget and Corporate Procurement Division, part of the Budget and Administrative Services Department (BDA). This team is responsible for overseeing the Bank’s budget management, providing corporate procurement services, delivering corporate services, and administering the Real Estate portfolio.
What you’ll do
- Oversee daily procurement activities in decentralized areas, ensuring compliance with BEO policies and guidelines. Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders and participate Quality and Risk Review Meetings (QRRs) for BEO documents.
- Oversee the work of the BEO Bidder Portal Provider, ensuring timely service delivery. Manage the BEO email inbox and provide support to internal and external clients on inquiries related to policies, guidelines, and systems.
- Collect and analyze data to generate insights, conduct market research, and evaluate potential suppliers to enhance the quality of fiduciary advice provided to clients.
- Contribute to the Bank’s sustainability efforts by supporting the Net Zero Roadmap and calculating greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from suppliers. Assist with sustainability monitoring and reporting, focusing on data management, emissions reductions, and the integration of sustainability criteria into procurement processes and tools. Promote sustainable procurement practices to achieve GHG emissions reduction targets.
What you’ll need
Education: Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Procurement, Finance, Law, Project Management, or other relevant fields. C.P.M. and/or C.P.S.M certification is a plus.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement is required. The candidate should demonstrate experience in green procurement, end-to-end procurement processes, and knowledge of decision support tools and analytics, along with the ability to create and negotiate legally binding commercial contracts. Experience with Project Management Systems and Bidders Portal is mandatory. Procurement and contracting experience in both US and Latin America are desirable. Experience with SAP and/or Ariba is a plus.
Languages: Proficiency in spoken and written English is required. Additional knowledge of Spanish, French and Portuguese is preferable.
Key skills
- Standard Knowledge of CDP supplier data.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to process data, see patterns and trends, and draw accurate conclusions. Experience with data analysis software tools is required.
- Strong presentation and communications skills, with the ability to convey data and technical information to non-experts in clear and compelling manner.
- Strong team player, with a can-do attitude, capable of interacting with a wide variety of staff (from technical experts to management) and skilled at motivating and mobilizing others.
- Self-starter with strong project management skills and an ability to manage and advance multiple priorities under aggressive timelines.
Requirements

Type con contract and duration
International staff contract, 36 months initially, renewable upon mutual agreement.
