About this position

The IDB Staff Association (SAS) is an independent entity that supports the well-being, engagement, and representation of IDB Group employees and consultants. We provide services, programs, and benefits that contribute to a healthy, productive, and connected work environment across Headquarters and Country Offices.

The Staff Association is seeking hands-on Data and Operations Senior Analyst to support its day-to-day operations, data management, and reporting needs.  This is a technical role focused on data accuracy, reporting, systems support, and activities / initiative execution. The position does not include people management responsibilities and is ideal for a professional who enjoys working with data, systems, and processes to improve service delivery.

What you’ll do

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain and update membership and operational data systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Produce regular and ad‑hoc reports, dashboards, and summaries to support SAS management and Board decision‑making.
  • Develop and maintain tracking tools and dashboards (Excel, Power BI or similar) to monitor membership trends, service usage, and operational indicators.
  • Perform data validation and basic quality controls.

Systems & Digital Tools Support

  • Provide day‑to‑day support for membership management platforms, SharePoint site, and internal tools used by the Staff Association.
  • Support automation and digital improvement initiatives (e.g., forms, workflows, data connections).
  • Prepare and maintain process documentation, job aids, and user guides.
  • Coordinate with IT teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve system issues and implement improvements.

Membership Support

  • Support the operational management of Staff Association services and programs, including wellness initiatives, clubs, Fitness Center, and country office programs.
  • Track service utilization, operational data, and related costs.
  • Follow up on action items from committees and working groups.
  • Support budget monitoring through data tracking and reporting.

Communications & Information Products

  • Provide data, charts, tables, and analytical inputs for reports, presentations, newsletters, and the Staff Association Annual Report.
  • Support the maintenance and updating of the Staff Association intranet (SharePoint), including basic analytics tracking.
  • Support surveys and member feedback initiatives through data collection and analysis.

What you'll need

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, data Analytics, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 1 year (2 - 4 years preferred) of relevant professional experience in Data analysis and reporting, Programs and Initiatives general service support, Information, membership, or systems management. Experience in an international organization, nonprofit, staff association, or corporate service environment is an asset.

Languages: Proficiency in English and one of the other Bank official languages (Spanish, French or Portuguese) is required.

Requirements

Type of contract and duration

International: International staff contract, 36 months initially, renewable upon mutual agreement.
