About this position
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive professional with excellent customer service skills. As a General Services Consultant, you will support a variety of tasks that contribute to the efficient delivery of corporate services.
You will work in the Travel, Security, and General Services Group, part of the Budget and Administrative Services Department (BDA). This Group is responsible for the Bank's Corporate Travel Program, the Corporate Security Program, and the provision of General Services. You will collaborate with the General Services Team, which manages food services, printing and mailroom solutions, custodial services, commuting initiatives, and childcare services.
What you’ll do
- Assist in the management of key service programs and support with benchmarking, including MetroCommute, dry cleaning, EV charger maintenance, and conduct regular inspections to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality corporate services.
- Monitor and review customer satisfaction surveys related to food services and other services, providing insights and recommendations for service improvements.
- Maintain updated records in collaboration with Human Resources for the back-up care program, audit program usage reports, and support vendor research and validation processes, including RFP documentation.
- Support the coordination and execution of digital poster and screen projects, ensuring effective communication and timely collaboration with stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate tracking and reporting of inventory for items such as IDB flags, kitchen supplies, and green containers. Research vendors for potential procurements.
- Assist in updating internal regulations and procedures.
- Provide logistical support for events, information tables, and conferences organized by the team.
What you'll need
Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Business Administration, or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in corporate services.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and functions. Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English, spoken and written, is required. Additional knowledge of French and Portuguese is preferable.

Type of contract and duration
-International consultant: International consultant Full-Time, 12 months (up to 36 months).
