About this position
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and analytical Treasury Operations Consultant. As a Treasury Operations Consultant, you will support key operational activities, including trade settlement of Fixed Income and Derivative products, data analysis, and the enhancement of financial systems. You will also contribute to AI-driven process improvements and automation initiatives to modernize workflows, improve data quality, and increase operational efficiency.
You will work in the Operations Team, part of the Finance and Administration Department. This team is responsible for processing operational activities across disbursement management, trade settlements and servicing, cash management, and corporate payments and collections, while enabling business strategy and minimizing operational risks.
What you’ll do
Trade Settlement Operations
- Perform trade confirmation process for all fixed income securities and OTC derivatives trades with counterparts.
- Monitor and ensure settlement of investments activities (fixed income securities), funding activities (bonds issued), and OTC derivatives instruments for Treasury related activities.
- Process and record cash, investment, funding, and derivative transactions in systems.
- Monitor and resolve pre-trade/post-trade discrepancies.
Business and Data Analysis
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to monitor operational KPIs, processing times, and compliance indicators.
- Apply advanced Excel skills to support operational reporting, reconciliations, and data validation.
- Query and analyze large datasets using SQL (or SQL-like languages) to support reconciliations, root-cause analysis, and operational control reporting.
- Use Python to automate repetitive tasks (data cleaning, validations, reconciliations, and report preparation) and improve reliability through reusable scripts and controls.
- Partner with Operations, IT, and automation teams to translate process maps and analytical designs into scalable solutions (requirements, test cases, deployment readiness, and post-implementation support).
- Design and implement automation across Treasury Operations (e.g., calculation scenarios, rate/fee computations, scenario testing, and exception management), integrating inputs from source systems and producing auditable, controlled outputs.
What you'll need
• Education: Master's degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or other relevant fields.
• Experience: At least 5 years of progressive experience in finance operations, delivering high-quality results and client service to meet team and departmental objectives. Hands-on experience in fixed income trade settlement and OTC derivatives operations, as well as experience in business analysis for Treasury Management Systems (TMS), including requirements gathering and testing support. Strong proficiency in data analysis and automation using Python (e.g., pandas, NumPy, basic visualization), along with experience working with structured and semi-structured data in cloud-based analytical platforms (e.g., Databricks or similar), focused on data access, transformation, and analysis. Experience querying large datasets using SQL or SQL-like languages, and strong experience with Power BI (or similar BI tools) for dashboard development, data modeling, and data visualization.
• Languages: Proficiency in English and one of the other Bank official languages (Spanish, French or Portuguese) is required s a plus.

Type of contract and duration
• International consultant Full-Time, 24 months (up to 48 months, if applicable).
