About this position

We seek a client-focused, proactive, and solutions-oriented Instructional Design Project Management Consultant. As an instructional design consultant, you will support the production and delivery of learning resources for IDB Group employees, including e-learning and others, as part of the Corporate Training program team. You will work in the INDES (Inter-American Institute for Economic and Social Development), part of the Knowledge and Learning Division. This team is responsible for managing the training offer for IBD Group employees, collaborators, and stakeholders.

What you’ll do

  • Support the management of instructional design and production projects. Including instructional needs analysis, file exchange management, task monitoring, quality validation and assurance, project risk management, product archiving, and documentation.
  • Integrate different courses and resources into the corresponding LMS platform.
  • Participate in the management of pilot editions and evaluation reports.
  • Support the relationship with external vendors, including candidates’ identification, evaluation, and management of the contracting process.
  • Continuously improve the course design, production, and delivery, as well as monitor and report metrics related to the objectives of the consultancy.
  • Other activities necessary for the development of course design and production projects.

What you'll need

-Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Instructional Design, Education, Psychology, Graphic Design, or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role.

-Experience: At least 2 years of progressive experience in designing and producing e-learning courses in SCORM or HTML5 format.

-Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English, spoken and written, is required. Additional knowledge of French and Portuguese is preferable.

Type of contract and duration

International consultant: International consultant Full-Time, 12 months (up to 36 months).
